Waterloo Global Science Initiative (WGSI) is hiring a Communications Coordinator who will report to the General Manager and be responsible for the hands-on execution of the communications plan for Equinox Summit: Learning 2030 , including media relations, generation of content, and dissemination of messaging across print and digital platforms.
Founded in 2009, the non-profit Waterloo Global Science Initiative (WGSI) is a partnership between Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and the University of Waterloo. Every two years, WGSI presents a highly focused international conference intended to catalyze long-range policy and investments in technological solutions for the future.
Equinox Summit: Learning 2030 will bring together the foremost visionaries and innovators in education-related fields with next-generation leaders from across the globe. This multinational, multidisciplinary and multigenerational group will collaborate on a framework for the Equinox Blueprint, a document that explores exemplar pathways in education and serves as the foundation for a year of outreach activities. The Summit takes place from September 30 to October 3 at the Perimeter Institute.
